since starting this newsletter in 2022, the lazy capricorn has transformed. i created this space when i was in the throws of depression, and the title was a play on how i was feeling at the time: disjointed from the stereotypical workaholic characteristic associated with capricorn sun people. however, this is no longer the case. the juxtaposition of the title is an ode to my appreciation for rest and prioritizing self-care.
this is a space of calm, but more importantly, this is a home encouraging exploration of true emotions—however they arise. though this is where i will be sharing my personal journey of self-discovery and healing, i aim for this space to collaborative: a communal setting for open dialogue through comments, chats, and even emailing me back directly from the newsletter. let’s connect and build a community of self-explorers together.
